YouTube has released its list of the Top 10 Nigerian Creators for 2025, and it’s yet another proof that Nigerian storytellers are carrying the digital space on their backs. This year, Nollywood energy was everywhere — emotional dramas, addictive series, and skits that had the whole internet laughing. Sitting at the very top is Omoni Oboli TV, the powerhouse channel owned by actress and filmmaker Omoni Oboli. Her romance-driven dramas dominated YouTube all year, earning her the title of Nigeria’s most-watched and most-searched creator. If consistency were a person, it’s definitely Omoni.

Right behind is Itelediconstudio, the creative hub of Itele d Icon. His blockbuster-like series and action-packed storytelling kept audiences deeply hooked — a reminder that Nollywood creators are no longer just participating in digital culture; they’re defining it.

YouTube shared the list through a statement from Addy Awofisayo, the platform’s Head of Music for Sub-Saharan Africa. The announcement also introduced a new “Recap” feature that allows users to look back at their YouTube year — the series binges, the tutorials, the fun moments, everything that shaped our watch history in 2025.
