“You Dey Mad!” – Regina Daniels Blasts Angela Okorie Over Mercy Johnson Drama

Regina Daniels & Angela Okorie

Omo! There’s hot pepper soup on the Nollywood streets, and it’s not from a movie set.

Regina Daniels just gave us front-row seats to real-life gbas gbos after she boldly tackled her senior colleague, Angela Okorie, over some not-so-sweet comments made about Mercy Johnson.

Here’s how it all started: Angela Okorie recently went live on Instagram, where she said she had “forgiven” Mercy Johnson — because she heard the mother of four was seriously ill. But the forgiveness didn’t come without some spicy jabs. Angela went ahead to claim Mercy had wronged many people, using “holy” words that didn’t match her actions.

But guess who didn’t find it funny? Regina Daniels.

In a fire-breathing response on her Instagram story, Regina called out Angela without mincing words. She said what many were thinking but were too shy to post:

I’m sorry, and with all due respect, Aunty Angela, you dey mad! Abeg no forgive because for this side, we no dey forgive… No dey shalaye!!

And if you thought she was done, she added a strong reminder that Mercy Johnson “ get pikin wey gidigba”

This wahala isn’t brand new, though. Just last month, Angela accused Mercy of losing weight not because of slimming tea, but because “she has no more blood to suck.” Yep, she went full vampire narrative on her. She even said Mercy destroyed lives and homes and must “seek atonement or stay restless.”

But Regina Daniels has made it clear — she’s not having it, and she’s standing ten toes down for Mercy.

Now we don’t know where this drama is heading next, but one thing is sure: Nollywood off-screen is giving more than the films lately.
