Thailand’s Opal Suchata has just been crowned Miss World 2025. The event took place in Telangana, India, and brought together 108 beautiful and talented women from all over the world.
It was a full month of fun, fashion, and powerful stories.
The contest had different rounds. Some of the early ones included Talent, Top Model, Multimedia, and Beauty With a Purpose. These helped some contestants move ahead faster. Others were picked by the judges after private interviews.
In the end, 40 quarter-finalists were chosen, 10 from each region: Africa, the Americas & Caribbean, Europe, and Asia & Oceania.
Then, the number was cut down to 20. Nigeria’s Joy Mojisola Raimi made it to this stage. Later, eight finalists were picked.
One finalist from each continent was chosen for the final round. Ethiopia’s Hasset Dereje stood out as Africa’s best and made it to the top four, along with contestants from Martinique, Poland, and Thailand.
During the final round, the contestants were asked questions by the judges. Their answers helped decide who would win. The judges were looking for clear thinking, strong values, and a heart for helping others.
In the end, Thailand’s Opal Suchata won the crown. Ethiopia’s Hasset Dereje came second. Poland’s Maja Klajda was third, and Martinique’s Aurélie Joachim came fourth.
